BASC Child Protection  Policy and Procedures

The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) recognises that all children have the right to freedom from abuse regardless of their age, gender, disability, culture, language, racial origin, religious beliefs or sexual orientation.

The child’s welfare is, and must always be, the paramount consideration.

This document sets out the policy (Child-Safe Policy) and procedures to be adopted when dealing with children in any of its activities, and should be read in conjunction with “Guide to the BASC Child Safe Policy”.
