At just 13 years old Catherine Turner became possibly the youngest ever person to complete her Deer Stalking Certificate 1. On 30 May, Catherine, already a keen member of Mirfield Rifle Club where the assessment took place, passed all four modules - written, visual, safety and shooting - to get a clear pass.

Course tutor Dave Stretton was certainly impressed by her marksmanship and her excellent attitude to gun safety.
