The BASC Firearms department is available to members for advice and information Monday to Thursday 9am – 5.15pm and on Friday from 9am – 4.45pm. Please note however that the department receives over 500 enquiries per month therefore there may be times when all lines are busy. Whilst BASC does not offer specific insurance cover to members for firearms licensing appeal cases, there is a process in place to provide legal expenses funding for viable cases to allow instances of apparent injustice to be challenged in the Crown and Sheriff courts. |
