Sainsbury’s and BASC team up again to promote game

One of Britain’s biggest supermarkets, Sainsbury’s, has teamed up with BASC again to promote the eating of game.

The Game’s On logo will be appearing on Sainsbury’s range of game products for the second year running. The range includes whole pheasant, game casserole, pheasant fillets, and whole partridge, easy carve pheasant and a brand new product, wild woodpigeon breast fillets. All these products are available from selected Sainsbury’s stores from the 17 October.

Sainsbury’s are also planning to run a number of in-store game tastings during BASC’s Taste of Game week. More details will be available on the Game’s On website – www.gameson.org.uk – between 10-17 November.

Game’s On campaign director, Simon Hamlyn, said: “It is very encouraging that Sainsbury’s are adding to their range of game products which shows they are committed to promoting game to their customers.”
