BASC Council Elections 2012 - Your chance to serve on BASC Council

Every member can play their part by voting in annual elections but for those with time and relevant expertise, serving on Council can be rewarding.

If you are prepared to serve sporting shooting and BASC by standing for Council please contact Andrea Porter on behalf of the Secretary of BASC, for more details; ring her on 01244 573 053.

Nominations for election to Council and motions for debate at the Annual General Meeting must be made formally in writing and submitted to the Chief Executive before the close of business on Tuesday 31 January 2012. They must be signed by a proposer and seconder and, in the case of elections, by the candidate (all of whom must be members of BASC).

Results of the BASC Council election 2011

BASC Council elections were held on 11 June 2011 at Chester Racecourse where nine candidates were standing for three vacant seats.  The results were as follows:

Claire Zambuni, who had previously been co-opted to Council, was elected to Council for a first term.                                                                       

Paul Culley and Mike Sherman were both elected for a second term.
