The Food Standards Agency has launched the final version of its Wild Game Guide which sets out the laws governing the sale and supply of wild game. The new guide is the product of three years of consultations with stakeholders, and brings the UK into line with current EU requirements.

If you have completed your DSC 1since 2006 and have the new 'blue' coloured certificate, then you are already qualified as a 'trained hunter' for large game (ie deer).
