INDIVIDUAL CLASSES (for Gamekeepers)
Class Numbers; 1313, 1316, 1319, 1322, 1325, 1329, 1332
FOR GUNDOGS OWNERS who are employed as bonafide head, single handed, beat or under keepers, river keepers or stalkers, or retired Gamekeepers, River keepers and Stalkers. The dog may however be handled by anyone else at the request of the owner.
To do list:
- Fill in the Crufts entry form (found at the top of this page or in the middle of the Crufts Schedule) and send it with the appropriate entry fee to Crufts as directed.
- If you later require a timetable of judging in the Gamekeepers Ring either telephone us on 01244 573019 or email but there should be a copy of this in the Crufts Catalogue
- If you hold a trophy from Crufts 2011 it must be returned to us by 1st February 2012.
INDIVIDUAL CLASSES (Working Gundogs)
Class Numbers; 1314, 1315, 1320, 1321, 1323, 1324, 1326, 1327, 1330, 1331
ONLY FOR GUNDOGS AND THEIR OWNERS WHO HAVE REGULARLY WORKED ON A SHOOT IN THE PREVIOUS SEASON 2011/12
To do list:
- Fill in the Crufts form (found at the top of this page or in the middle of the Crufts schedule).
- Have the Gamekeeper declaration signed and completed by the gamekeeper for whom you have regularly worked your dog/s (may be found on the reverse of the Crufts entry form or click below to download the form (PDF))
- If you later require a timetable of judging in the Gamekeepers Classes ring us on 01244 573019 or email but there should be a copy of this in the Crufts Catalogue.
- If you hold a Trophy from Crufts 2011 it must be returned to us before 1st February 2012.
GAMEKEEPER TEAMS
Class Number; 1328
Teams of 3 dogs (plus 1 reserve which will not be shown unless required) each dog must be Kennel Club registered to a Gamekeeper but may be handled by anyone else at his/her request.
To do list:
- Copy/print the Crufts entry form (at the top of this page) four times, completely fill in one form per dog and owner clearly indicating which is the reserve dog. Staple or pin all four forms together (No other entries on these forms please).
- Put the team name on each form.
- Where possible provide a Young Handler (name and address must be supplied) who can join you in the ring carrying a placard (which we will supply) with the name of your Shoot. (See young handlers class)
- Send all the above to Crufts. No fee required as this class is kindly sponsored by Crufts.

WORKING GUNDOG TEAM COMPETITION
Class Number; 1333
Teams of 3 dogs (plus 1 reserve which will not be shown unless required) not necessarily owned by but qualified by a Gamekeeper as dogs which have regularly worked for him during the previous season 2011/12.
To do list:
- Copy/print the Crufts entry form (at the top of this page) four times, completely fill in one form per dog and owner clearly indicating which is the reserve dog. Staple or pin all four forms together (No other entries on these forms please)
- Put the team name on each form.
- Complete the Declaration by your Gamekeeper for each dog/owner (this may be found on the entry form).
- Where possible provide a Young Handler (name and address must be supplied) who can join you in the ring carrying a placard (which we will supply) with the name of your Shoot. (See young handlers class)
- Send all the above to Crufts. No fee required as this class is kindly sponsored by Crufts.

Best Young Handlers Class
Class Number; 1334, 1335
You may select a dog already entered from any of the above classes to be shown by a Young Handler (under 14 and 18 years of age). The Judge will, in his/her opinion, choose the “best matched pair”.
- Fill in the Crufts form (found at the top of this page) and send it to Crufts as directed. Please supply name and address of young handler.
- This Class is kindly sponsored by Crufts so there is no entry fee.
