Bruce owns and runs the Devon Shooting School, which focuses on 1 to 1
tuition and corporate events. The school was established in 1995, is
based just west of Exeter and has a fully mobile set up for corporate
entertainment. Coaching is available from novice right through to
experienced game shots and pre-season refresher lessons are a
speciality. The school also offers a full range of gun dog training
classes and graded courses.
 
He is very keen to bring new people into game shooting and regularly coaches on Young Shot and Ladies Days in the West Country. Bruce has been coaching professionally for nearly 20 years as a BASC Accredited Coach, a Mentor of trainee coaches, a Safe Shot Assessor and a member of the ICSI (Institute of Clay Shooting Instructors). He is a keen game shot and trains and competes with his gun dogs

However his specialism lies in introducing beginners and youngsters to the sport.

He has been a BASC Coach for over 20 years.

He is a Safe Shot Assessor, regularly delivers the Proficiency Award Scheme and is a Coach Mentor.

Matt also provides a clay to game service where he will accompany you into the field and help not only with the transition from clay to game but also explain the formalities of the shoot to make that first day a memorable one and to make sure you are invited again.

 Roger has been a lifelong game shooter, and clay shooter since the mid 1980’s, being a member of a game syndicate and a committee member of a clay shooting club. He began coaching in the 1990s and first qualified as a BASC coach in 1996. He is also a qualified BASC Safety Officer.

Roger coaches consistently at BASC events, such as Game/Country Fairs, Young Shots, Ladies and Progression Days, Members evenings etc. He also represents BASC in the South West in running private clay shooting experiences for game shoots, Young Farmers Rallies etc.

Roger coaches on a part-time basis at Brook Bank shooting ground, Somerset, including regularly coaching Millfield School pupils.

Roger has an aptitude for coaching youngsters, instilling a love for the sport and a good awareness of gun safety. He can offer private coaching on an ad-hoc or regular basis if requested and is willing to travel throughout Somerset and the South West in general.
