He is now responsible for setting the standards within shooting sports, training, coaching, education and introducing young people to shooting through BASC’s young shots programme. He has a great love of most forms of shooting, acquired whilst growing up in the Cambridgeshire fens, although he is particularly interested in wildfowling, rough shooting and fishing

Jane’s primary responsibility is the BASC Shotgun Coach Award and our team of BASC Shotgun Coaches, organising training, assessment days, coaching lines and related events such as Safe Shot across the country.

Jane is a qualified A1 assessor, trained in evaluation and she is also one of our few female BASC Accredited Shotgun Coaches.
Other duties include the BASC Schools Programme attending large ‘Countryside Live’ outdoor events organised by Countryside Foundation for Education together with Susan Bull.
Jane enjoys working her Large Munsterlander, shotgun shooting and shopping – not particularly in that order!

Sue works in the Deer Assessment centre and is jointly responsible for the day to day administration of the DSC1 and 2 courses.

Outside of work Sue enjoys keeping fit and either trains or teaches Karate several night a week.

Mary is responsible for the day to day administration associated with DSC1 courses and DSC2 assessment materials and course management.

Responsibilities now include the Deer Assessment Centre, delivery of various training programmes to members; development of curriculum’s and course material. Evaluating 3rd party training providers.Supporting various aspects of shooting standards programme.Development of Training Policy document departmental and Association.
A life long interest and passion in deer, rifle shooting and the training of deer and related subjects. Along with a life long interest in air rifle shooting, and game shooting as well as a recently discovered interest in fly fishing particularly wild brown trout river fishing.
