More than 50 guests attended a celebrity game dinner in the Yorkshire Dales as part of National Taste of Game Week (14-21 November).
TV personality Clarissa Dickson-Wright entertained diners at The Craven Arms and Cruck Barn at Appletreewick with tales of her extraordinary life and love of the countryside.

The Craven Arms had invited chef Robert Hodgson to design a meal including hare and fresh grouse from the Bolton Abbey Estate selected by Head Keeper Paul Wilby.

BASC’s director in northern England, Phil Pugh, said: "Many of our guests had not tasted grouse or hare before but with Robert Hodgson’s excellent menu they are sure to enjoy game again in future. We were also pleased to raise funds not only for BASC but the 'Help for Heroes' campaign supporting our injured troops returning from Afghanistan and action elsewhere."
