Taste of Game Dinners at the Queen's Head, Hawkedon, Suffolk, a BASC Trade member, held on successive nights on 2nd/3rd February.  70 people were present at each.

  1. Staff at the Queen's Head serving dishes such as Italian Muntjac Casserole and Pot Braised Partridge.  Julie the chef is at the far end of the line.
     
  2. Colin Kennedy, winner of the Julian Novorol sepia in the raffle on Wednesday night.
     
  3. Andrew King, winner of the raffle prize on Thursday night, a Pair of Shoveler painted by Julian Novorol.
     
  4. Mrs. Soar, enjoying her evening, having driven all the way up from Romford for the occasion.
     
  5. John Ford and Brian White who had come all the way from the Colchester area.
     
  6. Guests - Paul and Elain McManus.
     
  7. A selection of main courses, including Poachers Wellington and Mutton, Rabbit and Venison Pie.
