   In a bid to promote and support ladies shooting, Liz Lamb (regional officer) has now set up a lady shot register which aims to put women in touch with other lady shooters in their locality. This is a great help if you are looking for company whilst clay shooting or practising in the field.

   British Shooting & Countryman Show - Newark - Notts

   BASC will be attending the British Shooting & Countryman Show (in conjunction with the Spring Fly Fishing Show) for the first time on the 28 February/1 March 2009.

   BASC run various events throughout the year and raffles are held to help raise funds for our Young Shots' programme. This enables us to offer our Young Shots' activity day to our future sporting shooters at the incredible price of £15.

   National Taste of Game Week is a major initiative designed by BASC to highlight the benefits of game meat as a local, wild and nutritious food source, whilst at the same time providing a focal point for encouraging the general public, BASC members and their friends to enjoy eating game.

    BASC Roadshow - Springfields Events Centre - Spalding

    The BASC roadshow promises to be a great evening for all with its many and varied trade stands, displays, advice centres, sporting books, wildlife artists, cartridge corner, wildfowling and air rifle clubs, sporting goods and clothing.
