GUNDOG TRAINING COURSES 2011

Following the success of last year’s course the Midland Region is organising another gundog training course this year. The course will begin in March and run on one day each month until August. Several different venues will be used throughout the course. The first day will take place in Hartshorne, near Burton, Staffordshire.

Introduction to Wildfowling for Juniors (12-18yrs)

Gainsborough & District Wildfowlers Association (GADWA) is holding an awareness day on Saturday 9th April 2011 which will include environment knowledge, safety, clay shooting, hide making, decoys, range finding, quarry ID, gundogs, identifying flight lines, a visit to the Gainsborough marsh site and use of the air rifle range.

The BASC Gamekeepers' Fair Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th April 2011 Established firmly now in the grounds of Catton Park in South Derbyshire the traditional Gamekeepers' Fair can trace its roots back over 30 years. Growing year on year it has maintained the quality and focus of an event enjoyed not only by keepers and their families but for a growing number of people interested in the countryside and its way of life.
