BASC Sealed Bid Auction 2012/2013

Many have supported this auction in the past and we are hoping to repeat the exceptional success of last year by securing some special items of sport. The auction not only raises substantial funds for the defence of shooting, but also gives hundreds of sportsmen and women the opportunity to enjoy varied and unusual activities, both at home and abroad.

In the past money raised in this way has contributed significantly to various projects and our plans for the future are no less ambitious.

In previous years the most popular items have proven to be driven or walked-up shooting for two or more guns, hind and doe stalking and wildfowling, but almost any sporting opportunity is normally snapped up. Variety is the key, so if you are able to offer some more unusual items please do so, safe in the knowledge that they will be well received.

The form allows you to specify the item or items of sport, the auction proceeds of which you wish to donate to BASC.  As ever, unless you ask otherwise, your donation will be acknowledged in Shooting & Conservation magazine, sent directly to all 130,000 BASC members.

In order for us to start the process, we would appreciate return of the form by Wednesday the 4th of January 2012 or click here to email it. In addition if you know of any other person who may be in a position to offer something for the auction, please get them to contact the Scottish Office.
