Plumpton College is hosting an open day (in association with the Sussex Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs) and the BASC South East Team will be there with the BASC membership stand, alongside the college Gamekeeping Department. The aim of the day is to promote the work of the college by providing information and advice on courses and career opportunities and there will be plenty of fun activities for all the family. Range Day at Bisley

Those of you that have attended our Range Days in the past will know the basic format and how successful they are. Therefore book early. At each Range Day you will be able to shoot both centrefire rifles and rimfire at running and static targets. You will be able to complete Range Certification Assessment on the day, if you have not already completed this. The day will start at 09.00a.m. and finish at 16.00 p.m. The top three scorers will receive prizes kindly donated by Bushware.

Fieldsport 2012

Members of the BASC South East Team will once again be attending the annual Fieldsport evening being held in the Wickham Community Centre. The event features demonstrations and exhibits relating to a wide range of fieldsports activities including shooting and wildfowling with the added attraction of a Lurcher Show. The evening runs from 6.30pm to 10.30pm with an admission fee of £5.00 (accompanied under 16's go free). Please see attached for further information.

This is a unique opportunity to learn about the etiquette of driven shooting in a non-pressurised and supportive environment.
