BASC South West , was established to better represent our membership and better promotes the objectives of the Association in South West England.
BASC aims to provide a public voice for shooting and conservation in the region and has regular dialogue with cross party political representatives to achieve a balanced view in West Minster; engage with the Regional Development Agency to implement positive sustainable habitat and wildlife management in accordance with the Rural Development Programme for England and to campaign on the issues affecting shooting and conservation in the South West England through balanced coverage in the media.
We defend the freedom of private firearms ownership, promote habitat and sustainable quarry population management and encourage access to shooting in South West England; providing expert advise and in doing so raising standards. BASC South West has a dedicated education programme to ensure our new and young shot members receive a comprehensive grounding before entering the shooting field.
