Young Shots Introduction Days

This day will give you a taste of different country sports and includes:

Shotgun Shooting with BASC coaches

Air Rifle Shooting on the Airarms Sharp Shooter System

Plus other activities such as :

Falconry

Pigeon Shooting

Gundog Training

Wildfowling

It is a very fun day and a great opportunity to meet like minded Young Shots.

Young Shots Progression Days

After attending a Young Shots Introduction Day you can progress your Shotgun Shooting by joining the BASC Progression Program.

These days include Shotgun tuition and a theory section designed to improve your shooting and knowledge as you progress.  At the end you can take your BASC Safe Shot exam which shows you are safe to use a shotgun in the field.

How to apply

To apply for the day please make sure your parents have read and filled in the form attached. Tell us which days you would like to attend and if it is a progression day be sure to state whether you would like to do rifles or shotguns.

Send your form, with a cheque for the full amount, made payable to BASC, to BASC Smokey Bottom Lodge, Staple Fitzpaine, Taunton, Somerset, TA3 5BL

All the equipment for your day is included in the price – all you have to do is bring your lunch! If you are a shotgun certificate holder you may bring your own shotgun.
