    In the wake of the recent serious incident in Essex, in which a number of beaters were injured when the trailer they were travelling in overturned, the UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), is reiterating its guidance for the transportation of people on shoot days.

    More than 7,000 acres of foreshore have been secured by wildfowling clubs, with help from the UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC). BASC’s wildfowling team has helped affiliated clubs secure sporting rights, leases and consent for wildfowling on six areas of foreshore in England and Wales in the past 12 months.
