There are two basic requirements for those thinking of taking up shooting or trying a new shooting discipline:

Please remember all of our courses and events are run by fully qualified coaches and assessors, so you will be in safe hands. None of the basic courses require you to bring anything with you, all equipment is provided free of charge.

THE FIRST STEPS

Do you have someone who can show you the ropes and take you shooting?

YES – apply for your free information pack from BASC (Adult / Junior information pack required, please supply address)

NO – You can go on a course or event available from BASC:

• Young Shots day for under 21s
   
• Introduction to shooting day (shotgun awareness training) for over 18s
   
• BASC Greenfield Shooting Club day – phone up your local coordinator and arrange a day (all levels of experience catered for)
   
• BASC ‘taster’ coaching lesson at a show - or organise one separately with the BASC coaches (Beginners to improvers)
