Building a future for clay shooting

Clay Shooting magazine has launched a new initiative to bring the next generation of shooters straight to your ground - our KIDS SHOOT FREE campaign.

With your support, we aim to encourage existing shooters to pass on their pastime to their children or their friends children and bring them to your shooting ground. We want to give young people the opportunity to have a go at clay shooting alongside a parent or guardian and for established young shooters to develop their skills.

Unicef’s recent study shows British kids crave time with parents over material wealth, especially on outdoor activities. Clay Shooting’s Kids shoot free campaign will permit children to shoot for free at participating grounds alongside a parent or guardian. *Terms and conditions apply.

Kids will enjoy quality time under the supervision of a parent while enjoying shooting and learning valuable personal skills of discipline and responsibility.

We’re committed to promoting our sport within shooting and wider communities so join us in our campaign to develop and grow our sport.

Each ground gets a campaign pack including posters and a customised banner with your logo to promote the campaign around your ground and encourage new and existing customers to take part. The kids that come to your grounds can send off for some unique Clay Shooting goodies including pin badges; hats and mugs.

As a participating ground we will offer you editorial coverage in the launch of the campaign and on-going during 2012. We encourage you to keep us informed of children and young people’s achievements at your ground, details of which we will then publish in the magazine.

You will also have the right to use the campaign logo on your advertisements to show that you are a participating ground and are actively involved in encouraging young people into our sport.

This project is fully backed and supported by BASC, the UK’s largest shooting organisation who will be helping to promote this venture to the wider shooting public and who will also be providing some interesting inserts for free goody bags for the children.
